Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Manager and Supervisor this position will work in Community Addiction and Mental Health as part of the Enhanced Services for Women team. Using recovery-oriented systems of care you will work to support equity deserving pregnant people, isolated pregnant or postpartum individuals having difficulty accessing support on their own. This program offers screening, assessment, treatment, navigation support and group facilitation to pregnant and postpartum individuals struggling with substance use and/or mental health concerns. There is an outreach component to this position and services can be offered at clinic or out in the community. Consultation with relevant stake holders is a key aspect in connecting clients with community agencies and other resources to support clients to meet their needs. Some committee work may be involved as needed. Other duties may be assigned that align with the scope of the role. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. You will be responsible for the intake, clinical interviews, and screening of clients with addiction and mental health disorders. You will liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively with other team members as required. You may have the opportunity to participate in program planning, development and to provide supervision to practicum students. This position is open to Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychologists, and Registered Occupational Therapists.
