As our Memory Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care our residents. This position requires a compassionate leader who is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and other age-related conditions. The Memory Care Supervisor will be responsible for developing care plans, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a supportive environment for both residents and their families.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
Supervise and train staff members to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to manage medication administration and health assessments.
Provide support and guidance to families regarding resident care and available resources.
Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
Ensure compliance with all regulations related to senior care, including safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction among residents.
Skills
Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities and providing Alzheimer's or dementia care.
Familiarity with Yardi, and EMAR
A background in nursing or senior care management.
Proficient in creating and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising staff members.
Knowledge of long-term care operations management practices.
Financial acumen for budgeting and resource management within a healthcare setting.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in retirement home environments is a plus.
Understanding of social work principles as they relate to senior care services. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors while leading a dedicated team in providing exceptional care.
