Overview


The Sales consultant at Edmonton Granite Memorials Ltd. ensures customer service, product sales, marketing, agent management & storefront facilities meet or exceed the expectations for operational excellence to the community we serve. The position is in-house at our showrooms in North and South Edmonton.

This role proposes and/or recommends initiatives, actions and processes to meet business needs and expectations for the quality, capability, functionality and public image of Edmonton Granite Memorials. This role requires daily interaction with customers, management, design staff, shop staff, funeral homes, agents, cemeteries and administrators to:

Plan and deliver sales service to our customers with dignity and respect Follow through on all memorial sales to completion to meet the customers expectations Resolve issues in a timely manner Develop and manage relationships with our business partners

Responsibilities



Planning



Collaborates with the leadership team to help develop growth strategy and deliver long term value of Edmonton Granite Memorials Prepares proposals for sales initiatives to meet current and future business needs that align with overall growth strategy

Sales



Shares workload for retail customer sales, including both walk-in and call-in customers Responds to online sales inquiries Ensures quality sales and service are provided to customers Ensures sales storefront area prepared and presentable to business expectations Communicates effectively to management and staff Manages sales workload and sales priorities, while providing support to others when needed to accommodate unique sales opportunities Contributes and participates in weekly sales meetings Becomes knowledgable on all products Ensures customer communication for time sensitive delivery and installation Identifies, tracks, and resolves customer problems, sales delivery issues and sales information issues in a timely manner Works closely with customers and our design team to ensure approval drawings meet their expectations and are signed off in a timely manner

Experience



Sales: 2 years (preferred) Familiarity with CRM software or other sales tools is an asset, but not required

Pay negotiable base on experience
