Latincouver Cultural and Business Society

is a non-profit organization that brings together Latin Americans and Latin enthusiasts living in Vancouver to strengthen and celebrate the richness of our businesses and cultures. Our four pillars are:

Promoting Culture:

We promote cultural diffusion of Latin America in the Canadian context, promoting and enriching bilateral cultural support.

Connecting Business:

We provide possibilities for Latino entrepreneurship with effective management, thus generating assertive business links in Canada.

Supporting Community:

We watch over a community in Latin America with cohesion and mutual support, giving rise to growth with firm roots.

Empowering People:

We generate growth possibilities and empowerment of enthusiastic Latin Americans seeking opportunities in Canada.

[Key Responsibilities]



Member Acquisition & Outreach



Develop and implement strategic initiatives to attract new members to the LCBC. Execute outreach campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team to promote membership benefits and opportunities. Represent LCBC at networking events, business expos, and community gatherings.

Member Onboarding & Support



Serve as the primary point of contact for all business members, providing personalized support and guidance. Design and execute a seamless onboarding process, including welcome communications, orientation materials, and introductory sessions. Maintain up-to-date membership records in the CRM database and ensure all member interactions are properly tracked.

Engagement & Retention



Build and nurture long-term relationships with business members, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience. Organize and coordinate engaging member-centric programming such as networking events, webinars, and business spotlights. Gather and analyze member feedback through regular check-ins and surveys to better understand evolving needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Partner with the marketing team to promote member stories, upcoming events, and exclusive member benefits. Collaborate with other Latincouver programs to align on goals and integrate member initiatives across platforms. Support outreach and engagement efforts related to the broader Latincouver business ecosystem.

Reporting & Data Management



Track key metrics related to membership growth, engagement, and retention. Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders with insights and recommendations. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all member-related systems and platforms.

[Qualifications]



1+ years of experience in membership coordination, community engagement, or business development Familiarity with Latin American culture and challenges faced by immigrant entrepreneurs Self-starter with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable with CRM tools, email platforms, and spreadsheets Passion for community building and small business support Knowledge in design and managing platforms like Canva is a PLUS

Marketing and / or sales experience

Requirements:



- Languages: English (required) / Spanish and Portuguese (an asset)

Working hours

: 20-24 hours per week

*This position is based on full commission



Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
