Hardware Design Engineer

(Posting).

Driving the competitive analysis tests and activities across different domains such as thermal and power.
Understanding the mechanisms for PC thermal control and perform validation test and analysis using thermal simulation software.
Debug, troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues that may occur in test environments.
Participate in meetings to discuss test development progress and issues.
Update the software, measure result using specialized lab instruments and share documented result across the team for further action setup. Work closely with supporting teams in thermal mechanical design, diagnostics, BIOS, driver, and the remainder of the platform team to ensure readiness of silicon thermal features, fan control methodologies and heat sink solutions.
(1.) To collect requirement and create engineering documentation and Test plan (2.) To select critical components meeting product specifications (3.) To design schematics in ECAD tools and review connectivity (4.) Perform Design analysis like Signal Integrity, Power Integrity , Derating analysis (5.) Prepare PCB layout guidelines and work with PCB team in reviewing the layout for design rules and DFx (6.) Support and work with cross-functional team for HW dependencies with ME Team, SW team, FPGA team , Manufacturing team (7.) Preform HW Design verification test, Regulatoryorsafety compliance test and Prepare test reports for the same.
