The Position:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, the Member Data Administrator provides day-to-day operation support for the CLHIA?s membership management and its related member communication databases as well as our event registration.

What you will be working on:
  • Providing hands-on support for CLHIA?s website, web-based member centre, and corporate directory to keep these key information platforms accurate and up to date.
  • Managing website content including updating access rights, performing AODA compliance checks, writing and editing content.
  • Performing website content and access audits to ensure CLHIA?s record retention schedule is adhered to.
  • Assisting with creating new groups and making changes to existing groups within the corporate directory.
  • Providing technical support to team members to help manage contacts and groups in our corporate directory, including generating member involvement reports.
  • Performing occasional access and security audits for our web-based member centre.
  • Maintenance of various cloud-based applications (i.e., Constant Contact, Uberflip, etc).
  • Ensuring website publications meet accessibility (AODA) standards and act as back-up for corporate documents.
  • Assist with various Office 365 requirements including end-user and administrator documentation.
  • Assist with managing additions and non-renewals, responding to member requests, welcome packages, adding to various lists and publications, and overall web-maintenance.
What you will bring:
  • Completion of three (3) years post-secondary education.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience, or education and experience in CRM or database support, including managing database contacts and distribution lists for sales, client or member service, or communications and marketing.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Lotus Notes or equivalent CRM platforms (report generation, data processing, data audits and cleansing, data extraction).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and database applications including Excel with data management skills.
  • Proficiency with application database management both as an administrator and as an end-user.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Office 365 applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and maintain attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • The ability to tactfully handle member inquiries and disputes one-to-one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including training and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of event database management and online payment processing, an asset.
  • Experience with HTML and website layout, an asset.
  • French language skills and a familiarity with the association sector are assets.
