Medical Technician
is required for a busy ophthalmology clinic.Duties:
As part of our team, you will:
Greet each patient with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for. Conduct visual acuity testing. Operate optical diagnostic equipment, including Visual Fields, OCT, and Fundus Photography. Obtain detailed and accurate medical histories for patient records. Assist the front desk team as needed.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent recognized in Ontario. Proficiency in English. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Customer service-oriented with a patient-focused approach. Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience in ophthalmology or optometry.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
