Job Summary

The Medical Supply Technician is an integral part of the Home Health Care team, ensuring that the department's high standards of operations are maintained on a daily basis.

Responsible for the packaging and organization of all medical supply orders to meet our contractual obligations, and monitoring the inventory levels

Job Type

Part-time weekends, afternoons/evenings, with potential day shifts

POSSIBLE SHIFTS

: (Saturday & Sunday) 9-6pm

(Monday-Friday) 8:30-5pm, 11:30-8pm, 4-9:00pm

Responsibilities

Prioritize packing all orders according to date, time, and route.

Ensure all orders are packaged accurately and verified.

Ensure all packaged orders for clients are correctly recorded protecting client's privacy

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints

Data entry of orders and other information

Maintain the movement of merchandise from the storage area to the packing area

Maintain an organized packing and storage area

Knowledge and Skill

Strong customer service and communication skills

Well-developed interpersonal skills

Collaborate with other department staff members to assure the client receives the possible service available

Excellent problem solving skills

Time management and organizational skills

Proficient knowledge of computer programs including MS word and Excel, Outlook

Attributes

Able to work independently and as a team member

Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

A meticulous work ethic and able to attend to detail

Education and experience

Retail experience is an asset
