We are currently seeking 1 full time secretary position(18 month contract with a possibility to extend) to join this fast-paced work environment. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and be efficient with customer service and booking clients.
The Hand and Upper Limb Clinic is a regional out-patient rehabilitation clinic with staff including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Certified Hand Therapist, and Rehabilitation Aides. This clinic has provided out-patient, private therapy services to our community for over 25 years.

Qualifications/Duties
Check-in patients, answer phones, book appointments, take payments, file charts, update patient information
Speak with insurance companies and WSIB in a calm and courteous manner on a daily basis
Chart preparation, intake forms, billing information, proper triage for patients, doctor referrals
Work experience as a receptionist/secretary in a health care setting would be an asset
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment, prioritizing and organizing work
Ensure a courteous and professional demeanor with patients
Other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
High School Diploma Required - College Preferred
Medical Terminology
Microsoft Proficiency (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is an asset
Medical Office Assistant Course (an asset)
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in customer service and medical field
