Our Medical Affairs team advances patient care by engaging in scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry professionals ensuring the scientific value of our products is realized. We engage and train internal employees to ensure that they thoroughly comprehend the science behind the medicine and review further unmet medical needs to bolster collaboration and further differentiate our portfolio.

The objective of the Medical and Scientific Liaison (MSL), by virtue of their training and expertise, is to discuss and provide scientific and therapeutic information to Healthcare Professionals and Researchers viewed by their peers to be authorities in Oncology (Clinical and Scientific Leaders).

The Medical Scientific Liaison\'s interaction with their audience is governed by guiding principles intended to deliver unbiased and evidence-based information through in-depth scientific exchange in the therapeutic area of Oncology, specifically in Lung and Gastro-intestinal cancers, but not limited to, often leading to knowledge transfer initiatives and research.

Reporting to the Therapeutic Area Head, Oncology - Medical Affairs, the Medical and Scientific Liaison uses exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, especially in the area of one-on-one communication, and a high degree of understanding of oncology and the treatments, to develop and maintain strong scientific working relationships with Clinical Scientific Leaders in oncology with both clinicians and/or basic scientists through the communication of unbiased and evidence based information.

The Medical and Scientific Liaison achieves a high level of competency in using Microsoft Teams collaborative platform and manages multiple ongoing projects. The Medical and Scientific Liaison is responsible for managing assigned budgets in order to optimize investment opportunities.

The Medical and Scientific Liaison will ensure his/her interactions fully comply with our Company\'s commitment to our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards and all laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, General Mandate and Guiding Principles for Medical and Scientific Liaisons.

Qualifications:

Education: Pharm D, PhD Degree in Science or Health Sciences (preferably in related disease area) or MD is required.

Pharmaceutical experience or equivalent preferably involving work with academic specialists and/or community leaders.

2-3 years experience in the therapeutic area of Oncology (both basic and clinical literature).

Demonstrated ability to acquire and maintain product, disease and competition knowledge.

Strong knowledge of Company policies, procedures, industry standards, as well as laws and regulations.

Ability to analyze and understand local community of practice.

Ability to comprehend and integrate complex scientific concepts.

Advanced knowledge of Office technology and related software.

Advanced Analysis, Planning, Implementation and Control skills.

Advanced negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Advanced project management skills.

Language requirements: English both oral and written.

L\xe2\x80\x99interaction entre l\xe2\x80\x99agent, Liaison M\xc3\xa9dicale et Scientifique et son auditoire est r\xc3\xa9gie par des principes directeurs qui assurent la transmission d\xe2\x80\x99information objective et fond\xc3\xa9e sur des preuves par un \xc3\xa9change scientifique approfondi dans le domaine th\xc3\xa9rapeutique de l\xe2\x80\x99oncologie, sp\xc3\xa9cifiquement en cancers du poumon et Gastro-intestinal, menant souvent \xc3\xa0 des initiatives de transfert de connaissances et de recherche.

Relevant du Chef, Aire th\xc3\xa9rapeutique m\xc3\xa9dical en oncologie, l\xe2\x80\x99agent met \xc3\xa0 profit un entregent exceptionnel, particuli\xc3\xa8rement pour ce qui est des communications interpersonnelles, et une excellente compr\xc3\xa9hension des entit\xc3\xa9s morbides et des traitements, afin de b\xc3\xa2tir et de maintenir des relations professionnelles solides avec des sommit\xc3\xa9s sur le plan clinique ou en sciences fondamentales, sp\xc3\xa9cialistes d\xe2\x80\x99une ou de plusieurs maladies par la transmission d\xe2\x80\x99information objective et fond\xc3\xa9e sur des preuves.

Il ma\xc3\xaetrise parfaitement l\xe2\x80\x99utilisation courante de la plateforme de collaboration de l\xe2\x80\x99application Microsoft Teams et g\xc3\xa8re plusieurs projets en cours. Il doit g\xc3\xa9rer les budgets attribu\xc3\xa9s afin d\xe2\x80\x99optimiser les occasions d\xe2\x80\x99investissement.

  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience pharmaceutiques aupr\xc3\xa8s de sp\xc3\xa9cialistes universitaires ou de leaders de la communaut\xc3\xa9.
  • Minimum de 2 \xc3\xa0 3 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le domaine th\xc3\xa9rapeutique de l\'oncologie est pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rable (documentation g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rale et clinique).

  • Capacit\xc3\xa9 d\xe2\x80\x99analyser et de comprendre la communaut\xc3\xa9 locale de pratique.
  • Aptitude \xc3\xa0 comprendre et \xc3\xa0 int\xc3\xa9grer des concepts scientifiques complexes.
