Medical Receptionist
Job Description
LiveActive Sport Medicine is looking to find an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join it's growing team. We are a multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic with two locations and we are looking to find a medical receptionist for our newest location in the vibrant community of the Beach.
We are looking for an individual that has experience working in a medical office and a good understanding and use of technology is required.
Training will be conducted at our Etobicoke location. Successful participants must be OK travelling to Etobicoke for two weeks of training, appropriate travel stipend will be provided during training.
Core Functions:
Booking appointments
Taking payment for services
Billing insurance companies
Managing communication in and out of the clinic (faxes, phone calls, etc...)
Managing medical documents within the clinic
Coordinating care with outside referral network
Organizing Team Events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 - 42 per week
