```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Check blood pressure, height/weight, analyze urine samples
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area ```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with medical office operations and terminology is a plus
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
