About the Role
We are currently hiring
two Medical Receptionists
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who stays calm under pressure, adapts easily to change, and communicates confidently and professionally.
As a Medical Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in setting the tone for their experience. This is more than a front-desk position--it's an opportunity to be a key part of a high-performing healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for patients in person, by phone, email, text, and online platforms
Book, manage, and adjust appointments efficiently and accurately
Support clinical staff by coordinating schedules and ensuring smooth daily flow
Manage referrals, patient records, and administrative documentation
Handle unexpected situations with professionalism, adaptability, and calm problem-solving
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front-desk environment
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, providers, and team members
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in a medical reception or administrative role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable adapting to change and shifting priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems is an asset
Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
Experience in hospitality or client-facing roles is considered a strong bonus
