Medical Receptionist Full Time & Part Time
Job Description
North Burlington Medical Centre is hiring a Full-Time & Part-Time Medical Receptionist. We are looking for patient focused, organized individuals who thrive in a fast paced environment. The individuals must be friendly, willing to learn, detail oriented, able to problem solve, good with computers, and have an overall positive approach to working with others.
All candidates must be good with communication, both written and verbal.
These are multi-faceted positions that are focused on patient care and administrative tasks.
Previous experience with EMR, a diploma in Medical Administration and experience in a customer service industry are assets, but not essential.
Medical Receptionist: Full-Time
This role includes, but is not limited to:
- Greeting & registering Walk-In Clinic patients
- Answering phone calls for both Walk-In Clinic & Family Practice patients
- Scheduling and managing appointments for Family Practice patients
- Working closely with physicians and nurses to facilitate patient care
- Charting and record keeping for all Family Practice & Walk-In Clinic patients
- Faxing and E-mails
Hours:
Mon-Fri (8:30-5, 11-7, 1-8:30)Medical Receptionist: Part-Time
This role includes, but is not limited to:
- Greeting & registering Walk-In Clinic patients
- Answering phone calls for Walk-In Clinic patients

- Charting and record keeping for all Family Practice & Walk-In Clinic patients
- Faxing and E-mails
Hours:
Mon-Fri (4:45-8:30), Weekend & Holidays (9-5)Salary: starting between $17.25 - $17.50
Available Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-8:30, Weekends & Holidays 9-5
