Company descriptionAvenue Physiotherapy is a Physiotherapist-owned and -operated facility that offers comprehensive, state-of-the-art and -science treatment for all of your rehabilitation needs.Job descriptionLook no further; Avenue Physiotherapy is hiring!Avenue Physiotherapy is owned and operated by two Physiotherapists and is seeking to hire a part-time Medical Receptionist to join the team.The successful individual needs to be friendly, efficient, enthusiastic, and able to handle people and phones at the same time. They should be comfortable with basic computing along with some form of medical billing and booking software and will become proficient in teh use of the Juvonno platform. The successful candidate with be working with our full time Office Administrator as well as the clinical team with a variety of clerical and front reception duties.Responsibilities include but are not limited to welcoming and checking in patients, booking appointments, answering phones, calling patient or sending e-mails, third-party billing, processing payments from clients, scanning and faxing paper records, and communicating with other health professionals' offices. Additional duties may include folding clinic laundry, surface cleaning per COVID protocols, collecting refuse and recycling. Other duties will be included on an as-needed basis.The successful candidate must also be available to occasionally work full time to cover illness and vacation time for our full time office administrator.Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18-25 per weekSalary: $17.00-$18.00 per hourSchedule:
