We are a busy, multi-doctor optometry clinic seeking a
full-time medical office receptionist
to join our patient care team.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
Answer and triage a high volume of phone calls
Schedule and confirm appointments in our EMR system
Process OHIP and third-party insurance claims
Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
Assist with preliminary testing (autorefractor, visual fields, etc.)
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in a
medical, dental, or optometry office
preferred.
Knowledge of OHIP billing, EMR systems, or vision insurance is an asset.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Professional communication and patient service skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays (8 am-1 pm).
