We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing laboratory tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Medical Laboratory Technician will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect samples from patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all instruments are calibrated and functioning properly. Follow strict protocols for specimen handling, processing, and storage to maintain sample integrity. Document test results accurately in the laboratory information system and communicate findings to the appropriate medical staff. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment in compliance with health regulations. Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and participate in ongoing training as required.

Experience

Previous medical clinic experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with clinical settings and patient interactions. Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques is essential for effective sample collection. Proficiency in giving injections to adults and children A solid understanding of medical terminology is necessary for accurate documentation and communication within the healthcare team. Prior laboratory experience is advantageous, demonstrating knowledge of testing procedures, equipment operation, and quality control measures.
