We are a Toronto-based IV infusion clinic focused on wellness, recovery, and preventive health. Our clinic is operated by skilled
Registered Nurses (RN)
who administers all IV infusions in a professional, safe, and compliant environment.
We're seeking a
Medical Director (MD or Nurse Practitioner)
licensed in Ontario to provide remote medical oversight and support.
Responsibilities
Review and approve
patient infusions, protocols and IV infusion formulas.
Review patient files
as needed before or after infusions (on request).
Be
available on standby
to address any urgent or emergency medical questions or incidents (remote guidance only).
Ensure ongoing compliance with provincial standards for medical oversight and delegation of controlled acts.
Qualifications
MD (CPSO)
or
NP (CNO - Extended Class)
in good standing, licensed in Ontario.
Experience with IV therapy, wellness infusions, or ambulatory care preferred.
Strong understanding of medical directives, delegation, and emergency protocols.
Comfortable providing remote clinical oversight with clear, timely communication.
Commitment
Minimal time commitment .
Fully remote possibility-- no on-site presence required, but can be arranged if preferred.
Compensation
Per patient or monthly flat rate fee.
Duties
Lead and manage clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Oversee patient care quality, implementing policies that enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices.
Conduct regular evaluations of medical staff performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
Facilitate change management initiatives to improve processes within the organization.
Experience
Proven experience in a medical office or hospital setting is essential, with a strong background in patient care management.
Familiarity with medical terminology, case management, and healthcare regulations is required.
Experience in supervising teams, project management, and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities are crucial for success in this role.
