We are seeking a detail-oriented, caring, and organized

Medical Compression Stocking Fitter

to join our busy

vein clinic

team. This position plays a critical role in supporting patients' treatment plans by providing expert fitting services and sales, managing inventory and orders, coordinating with vendors and insurance companies, and ensuring timely fulfillment of compression garment needs. The ideal candidate has a background in healthcare or retail, excellent customer service skills, is comfortable managing both clinical and administrative responsibilities, and works well within a team.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Fitting & Education.

Measure and fit patients for compression stockings and educate on proper usage and care.

Order Fulfillment & Inventory Management.

Manage patient orders, inventory, and sales.

Vendor & Returns Coordination.

Communicate with vendors/supplies regarding product, pricing, order issues including returns or exchanges. Coordinate all billing and insurance information for clinic and patient.

Administrative Support.

Maintain patient records, insurance documentation, prior authorizations, and keep updated on product updates and training.

Qualifications

Prior experience in

medical equipment fitting

, retail, or healthcare setting preferred. Strong

interpersonal skills

and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Excellent

organizational and multitasking abilities

. Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. Basic computer proficiency (EMR, order systems, email, inventory tools). Knowledge of medical compression garments (training available if not already certified).

Preferred Qualifications

Certification as a

Certified Fitter

(e.g., from a compression stocking manufacturer). Experience with

Sigvaris or Medi compression stockings

Experience with insurance processes (e.g., Blue Cross or Greenshield)
