Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management and fiscal management, ensuring that the clinic runs efficiently while providing high-quality patient care. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, resources, and patient interactions within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Supervise and manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and JCAHO. Manage financial aspects of the clinic, including budgeting, financial reporting, and fiscal management. Ensure effective utilization of EMR and EHR systems for accurate medical records and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care services and improve operational efficiency. Implement policies and procedures to optimize clinic workflow and enhance patient satisfaction. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment; coordinate with vendors for procurement. Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to foster a positive clinic environment. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in healthcare management.

Experience

Proven experience in medical office management or clinic management is essential. Familiarity with dental office experience is preferred but not mandatory. Supervising experience in a healthcare setting is required; nursing or acute care experience is a plus. Knowledge of practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology, financial management, budgeting, and managed care principles. Experience with human resources functions within a clinical setting is beneficial. Previous experience in critical care or veterinary environments may be advantageous for certain clinics.
