Job Description

This position will be a 1 year contract for a maternity leave coverage with a possibility of permanent full-time employment after the 1 year.

As an ophthalmic technician you will be responsible for but

not limited to the following:

Vision testing Diagnostic testing Instilling drops Taking medical history Calling patients into examining and technical rooms Direct patient care Updating and working on patients medical charts

Qualifications:

A positive and upbeat attitude Multitasking skills Superior customer service skills Moderate computer knowledge Strong typing ability Strong verbal communication skills Bilingualism (asset) Ability to work in a team as well as on your own

Experience not mandatory -

all training is done on site!

Must be able to work at both our locations.
