Our team is growing again and we are looking for a

Medical Administrator

for one of our St. John's clinic.

With locations across the country ProActive is a growing provider of wellness centric services.

ProActive uses a multi-disciplinary team approach to ensure that our clients, patients and staff have the best experience possible. We are looking for energetic, team players who are forward thinking and up to date on modern techniques.

Experience with EMR is required

Medical Office Administrator Certificate is considered an asset.

Job Duties:

Welcome patients and visitors by greeting in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries as needed Keep patient appointments on schedule and ensure service delivery is adequate Maintain patient files by obtaining, recording, and updating any necessary information Record and update any patient information; complete tasks; recording and collecting patient charges; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims Stocking physician exam rooms Protect patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes to supervisor
