We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management and demonstrate proficiency in fiscal management, office management, and human resources. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and performance.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks for effective patient record management.
Coordinate human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient care processes in acute care or critical care settings.
Develop policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency within the clinic or dental office environment.
Stay updated on managed care practices and JCAHO standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in medical office management or administrative support within a healthcare setting.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Familiarity with financial management principles including budgeting and fiscal oversight.
Knowledge of medical records management, including experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
Previous experience in a dental clinic or veterinary environment is a plus but not required.
