Media Experts Analyst, Audience & Analytics

Job Description

Position Summary

As an analyst on the Audience and Analytics team, you will be positioned for rapid growth and gain hands-on experience working on advanced marketing analysis and measurement projects. This position offers the chance to work with engaged client teams, a variety of media and analytics platforms and data sources, all supported by a strong internal system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing data and analytics services to our customers:
  • Leverage data feeds from various media data sources and our global harmonized Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools to create holistic performance reports
  • Create, modify, run, automate and document "ETL" (SSIS) programs.
  • Participate in the modelling, creation, modification of database structures for the data warehouse data.
  • Create data visualizations to communicate your key findings to specific audiences
  • Developing optimal processes for performing analytics
  • Be the subject matter expert and educate the extended team on learnings across the various platforms
  • Assist in ongoing processes and decisions around data storage
  • Collaborate with other specialists in their sector to define the rules of governance and standards surrounding the practice of business intelligence.
  • Draw on expertise of functional experts within internal teams to continually develop skills and capabilities
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Fluency of R, Python, SQL, Access, and/or any other advanced analytics software package
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL database management
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. OR equivalent professional work experience
  • Data Visualization experience (Tableau, DOMO, Datorama, Data Studio)
  • 1-2 years' experience including data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Access
  • Proactive project management skills: able to manage multiple projects' timelines simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal skills: able to maintain positive working relationships with a wide set of internal and external contacts
  • Technically-minded with a desire to learn about data, marketing and the future of adtech
  • Ability to make the complex simple when describing processes to audiences who might not be so expert in martech
  • Nice to have: Working knowledge of media metrics and digital media reporting platforms such as DCM, SA360, Facebook, DSPs and other digital reporting platforms
