Established in 1960, Perimeter Aviation LP is a diversified company that is a subsidiary of the Exchange Income Corporation which has recently grown through the merger with Bearskin Airlines. Position Summary
Reporting to the 703/704 Chief Pilot, Perimeter Medevac Pilots transport thousands of passengers each year. Whether a First Officer or a Captain, your number one priority is to conduct each flight safely, taking into consideration on-time performance and the comfort of each passenger. The industry regulations change continually, and pilots must keep current on all literature. Further, pilots are expected to achieve an intimate mechanical knowledge of the aircraft they fly. All pilots are Transport Canada approved individuals who have met and exceed the qualification standards for their position.
The Medevac Pilots work closely with the other members of the crew and flight followers. They must be in constant communication to ensure that Medevac transfers are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Conduct flights with strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual
Preflight Calculations not limited to:
Completing the Operational Flight Plan
Weather
NOTAMs
Fuel and oil requirements
Weight and balance
Signing and accepting the Manifest
Journey Log Entries
Ensure that the aeroplane pre-flight inspection is completed before each departure
Lift, load and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight
Assist medical crew when required and appropriate
Ensure that passengers are briefed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures
Complete flight watch jointly with the flight dispatcher (Type B)
Complete flight watch (Type C)
Ensure that all post-flight duties are completed, including post flight aeroplane inspection, notification/confirmation to the Company of the whereabouts of the aeroplane when away from base, recording flight times and any defects
Actively participate in the Company's Safety Management System
Continue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot
Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
Commercial Pilot License
Category 1 Medical
Current Group 1 Instrument Rating
1500 Hours Total Flight Time, With 500 PIC
ATPL for 703/704 Medevac Captains
Canadian citizenship or ability to work in Canada unrestricted
Pilots must be fluent in English, and be able to demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehension
Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record check required
Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations required
Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
Valid Passport required
Valid Driver License required
Working Conditions
Physically able to perform all listed job duties
Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to travel for extended periods
Ability to lift, load and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight
When on scheduled shift, accommodation arranged in residence at remote base you are assigned to. Bases may change as per operational requirements
