Overview

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical or Architectural Technologist with experience in mid- and high-rise buildings. This role involves producing detailed drawings, and supporting construction phases.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in building systems design preferably in high-rise Diploma in Mechanical Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related program Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit is considered an asset Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and momentum Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to shifting priorities Committed to continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

Lead the design and drafting of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection Prepare complete drawing packages for engineering review and permit submission Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other design disciplines throughout project phases Assist with engineering analysis, evaluations, and implementation of mechanical systems Resolve construction-related design issues in coordination with contractors and site teams Conduct occasional site visits
