We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of

Mechanical Technologist

. The role of Mechanical Technologist reports to the Production Manager. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Build products following established shop practices, mechanical drawings, and written or verbal instructions Assemble and perform testing on precision electro-mechanical prototypes and high-reliability products Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment Contribute feedback on design requirements and technical drawings Assist in developing specifications and procedural documentation Take responsibility for mechanical aspects of system and tooling construction Support the commissioning process for both prototype and production machinery Ensure a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Key Skill Requirements:

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong multi-tasker Experience in Microsoft applications, computer software and hardware

Key Experience/Education:

3-5 years' experience in tooling and mechanical equipment is preferred Mechanical Technologist diploma or equivalent is required A mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required Knowledge of quality control tools is required Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset
