Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Peace River, Alberta, Canada

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Technician to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring the on-time delivery of equipment, improving maintenance efficiency, and enhancing people productivity within the Maintenance Base (MB).
Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and on-call mechanical maintenance services in both field and shop areas.
• Assemble and commission engines, hydraulic skids, generators, drive heads, and stroking unit packages.
• Maintain and operate a field service truck.
• Supervise apprentices and others as required.
• Comply with all company quality, and Health and Safety work procedures.
• Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).

Requirements

• Experience in engine maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in generator maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in wellhead drive maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in hydraulic stroking unit maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Millwright, Automotive or Heavy Duty mechanic journeyman certificate required.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance strategies.
