Job Description
Position: Building Operator
1 year contract
Location - Mississauga, ON
We are seeking a hands-on Building Operator to manage daily facility operations and ensure reliable building performance. This role supports HVAC systems and R&D equipment, including fume hoods, exhaust fans, solvent pumps, RO water systems, compressors, and unit ACs. Responsibilities include daily building rounds, IAQ monitoring, minor HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting, BAS operation, work order response, and emergency response support. The operator works independently and provides on-call support, overseeing HVAC filters, chiller plants, automation systems, solvent tank levels, piping, and contractors.
Qualifications: 4th Class Power Engineer (preferred) or BES; steam boiler/plant experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, fully onsite.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
