We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!



We are seeking for Post-Market Quality Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in our commercial launch for the Globe System. In this role, you will analyze post-market data, lead complaint investigations, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Design and Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Risk Management Teams to drive continuous product and process improvements.



Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Your responsibilities will be to:



Lead investigations into product feedback and complaints related to medical devices, including coordination of device returns Review and analyze post-market data including complaints, field actions, and customer feedback to identify trends and risks Collaborate with Engineering subject matter experts, Manufacturing, Test, and Quality Engineering teams on root-cause analyses Translate investigation findings into actionable design or process improvements to enhance product performance based on field data Build and maintain a knowledge base of investigation outcomes to support continuous improvement

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or related field) Minimum 3 years of experience conducting root-cause failure investigations and implementing effective solutions -- ideally within medical devices or other regulated, high-reliability industries Hands-on experience working in complex manufacturing environments that include automation, detailed work instructions, and robust quality controls Proficient in interpreting engineering documentation such as design drawings, technical specifications, risk assessments, and verification/validation (V&V) reports Strong commitment to process improvement and proactive problem-solving Capable of managing multiple investigations simultaneously while prioritizing tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a technical context Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams and functions Driven, motivated, curious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.

$80,000 - $105,000 (CAD Annually)
