Perform preventative maintenance inspections and corrective actions on mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime
Participate in safety, maintenance, process, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with high-performing teams to resolve process-related issues
Execute tasks such as gearbox rebuilds, belt splicing, bearing replacements, motor alignments, pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance, custom fabrication, and improvement projects
Willingness to work on a shift schedule is required
Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification with a community college/technical diploma preferred
3-5 years of trade experience (asset)
Welding skills and/or qualifications (asset)
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Self-starter with sound decision-making skills in a collaborative setting
Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an asset
Electrical/automation aptitude and experience is considered an asset
