JobTitle: Mechanical Integrity Specialist ASnapshot of Your Day The Mechanical Integrity Specialist is a key member of AGT productdevelopment projects; focused on developing and improving analyticalunderstanding of key gas turbine engine components. Day-to-day activities includethe building of analysis models using bespoke and commercial FE analysissoftware, solution of models to support product attribute understanding and resolutionof key product issues and opportunities. You will actively contribute in groupforums to establish appropriate best practice and tactics to overcomeanalytical and program challenges, together with frequent project progress updates. • You will study background analytical work and output to guide the team on possible analytical and lifing approaches
• You will work with technical specialists in the design and manufacturing fields to support component manufacture and engine overhaul activities
• You will support the mentoring and development of junior mechanical integrity department members
• Where possible you will look for opportunities to build on prior knowledge when generating solutions
• You will advise Product management in understanding technical risk levels associated with in-service issues
• In response to field failures you will take part in root cause analysis for components in which you\xe2\x80\x99ve developed a specialization
• You will take part in, or lead, detailed technical audits of models, stress analyses and lifing reports

What You Bring

• You have a Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering and are a member of the "l\'Ordre des ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec"
• You are fluent in French
• You are motivated by being part of a multi-disciplinary analytical team
• You are interested in gas turbine technology and how it can be developed to remain a relevant technology through the energy transition
• You are excited to create engineering solutions
