Description Based in Brandon, Manitoba, we synthesize and blend nitrogen, phosphate, and sulfur products with ammonia, which we market primarily in the prairie provinces of Canada and the northern United States. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, MECHANICAL
Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC is looking for a motivated individual to join the Maintenance team and contribute to the organization’s value creation capabilities. This role offers a fast-paced working environment and opportunities for career development within our growing organization

What You Will Do In Your Role

HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUE By Developing Talent

  • Provide other KAES (Koch Ag and Energy Solutions) sites support with knowledge sharing and direct participation in projects and initiatives
  • Provide support for Capital Projects, Turnarounds and Outage by participating in design reviews, execution strategies and coordination of trades
  • Effectively coordinate work crews and schedules to achieve work expectations and customer satisfaction
  • Administer personnel in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Company policies

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
  • Capability to work in a multi-level, 24-hour, industrial environment that will be affected by process and weather that may require donning appropriate PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT).
  • 5-10% travel, including air

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Valid class five (5) driver's license

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 3 years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized, Petro-Chemical industrial setting
  • Experience in leading a high-performance team
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright certification or related post-secondary education
  • Millwright and mechanical knowledge and experience to be able to technically support and mentor the team
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, P&Id’s, design drawings and equipment manuals
  • Knowledge of Industrial mechanical installations and maintenance best practices
  • Innovative troubleshooting experience with complex mechanical equipment with a proven record of accomplishment.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) systems (Maximo), digital tool usage and implementation, technological advances in tooling (Optical Laser alignment tools)
  • Ability to develop, review, and improve maintenance procedures as part of a Mechanical Integrity Program
