About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Insulation Supervisor/Installer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical insulation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and on-time project completion.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with strong field experience, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate teams and materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of insulation crews on industrial, commercial, or institutional projects. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Plan, schedule, and monitor progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations. Train, mentor, and evaluate insulation technicians and apprentices. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution. Track material usage and inventory, and coordinate with procurement for supplies and equipment. Prepare and maintain daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum

5 years of mechanical insulation experience

, with at least

2 years in a supervisory or lead-hand role

. Strong knowledge of insulation materials, systems, and installation methods (hot/cold, ductwork, piping, equipment, etc.). Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
