Job Description

Jardeg is recruiting a Mechanical General Foreperson to join the projects team at the Meg Energy site. This is a permanent position to support pipeline projects and starts July 2025 and will be for day shift on a 8 days on, 6 days off shift rotation. Camp accommodation and travel allowance are provided by the company. Travel Allowance Program is $500 per shift rotation worked.
The Mechanical General Foreperson is responsible for the organization, direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities on a construction project site as delineated in the applicable project execution procedures, site specific safety plan and project execution plan.
Responsibilities:

• Organize and coordinate construction activities on a job site
• Assist in the implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedules, cost controls and reporting
• Request and coordinate movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and lead times
• Identify potential changes to project scope and advises project superintendent of associated impacts
• Assist in the coordination and planning of projects in a particular construction area
• Monitor contractors, trades performance, progress and productivity
• Ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications

Position Qualifications:

• Red Seal Pipefitter Journeyperson Ticket is an asset
• Must hold a valid Driver's License
• 5 year Driver's Abstract (must be reviewed and approved by site safety team)
• 5 years plus leadership experence is an asset
• Pipeline experieance is an asset
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Position is contingent upon a successful employment verification and a criminal background check and drug and alcohol test.
