A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Lead and mentor a crew of 10+ Journeymen and Apprentice Plumbers on diverse projects and jobs.
• Organize and maintain scheduled installations of building mechanical systems.
• Reporting to the Superintendent.
• Install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Perform quality control inspections to exceed client expectations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Plan and coordinate sub-trades and identify efficiencies and cost-savings to maximize project success.
• Supervise workers and projects, train and arrange training, and coordinate manpower pertaining to the contract with the developer/general contractor.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman or Lead Hand role on commercial sites.
• Red Seal Plumber Certification.
• Positive and driven leader with experience managing small teams and projects.
• Proficiency in plumbing installations with some knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics and specifications as required.
• Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices (safety is a priority for us!).
• Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget.
• Self-motivated with the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.
• Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time.
• Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology.
• You bring solutions to any roadblock that comes up on the job.
