Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Advise on tendering procedures Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Provide product demonstrations Prepare standards and schedules Estimate costs and materials Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects Perform data entry Monitor and evaluate Create user manuals Communicate the business and technical benefits of the analytic solution to both business and technical audiences
