is looking for a skilled

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST or TECHNICIAN

.

We are a Custom Fabricating and Machining facility, utilizing both CNC and Conventional Machine Tools to manufacture large, heavy equipment. Our reputation for quality workmanship and our ability to respond quickly to clients' lead times, keeps our 75,000 square foot manufacturing plant busy.

Skills/Abilities include:

Experienced in 3D modeling and creating shop drawings

Able to communicate issues and instructions clearly, efficiently and in a constructive manner

Technical background in welded and machined products

Able to define manufacturing process steps from drawings for welding and machining processes

Ability to monitor and execute multiple projects in parallel

Must be proficient with interpreting drawings and GD & T for welding and machining

Responsibilities include:

Design and develop manufacturing procedures, tooling and fixtures

Maintain strong communication with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Customer

Generate and modify component and assembly drawings

Programming CNC plasma table

Experience with:

Solidworks experience would be an asset

CNC Machining Programming experience would be an asset

Welding/Machining large products

Microsoft programs

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Overtime and some flexible hours are required for this position)

Salary: $25 - $30/hr - Depending on experience
