You will have a dual role as you learn the Fire Protection trade from both the design and installation sides. You will begin your career as a trades apprentice, but once you've mastered the trade you will move into an office role. Your trades apprenticeship and your design work will overlap so that you'll have your APEGA P-Eng stamp by the time you're ready to move into the engineering role fulltime. This opportunity is only available to people who completed their mechanical engineering degree in Canada.
