Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering software and tools. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

As a Mechanical Engineer, your activities may include, but are not limited to:

Existing energy storage system and motorized stand prototype assembly investigation and documentation review

3D component creation and modeling using Auto-desk Fusion

Customer collaboration to capture end-user requirements

Industrial design of the motorized stand product line

Design for manufacturability of the energy storage system and motorized stand product line

Component costing and design for cost efficiencies

Mechanical design of energy storage system housing end caps and profile extrusion using ABS housing material

Mechanical design of motorized stand and prototype build

System integration of the mechanical housing with the internal electrical components

Testing of the pre-production prototypes of the motorized stand product line

User manual generation for energy storage system and motorized stand.

Assignments and responsibilities may vary based on customer priority and direction of R & D

Required Skills and Attributes:

Expert in Autodesk Fusion

Highly skilled with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)

Able to work independently

Strong attention to detail

Demonstrated scholastic achievement

Highly motivated and eager to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
