Mechanical engineer.
Our goal if to hire the right candidate to become a steppingstone in innovation and design. We are looking for the right candidate to take up this new role and bring a new experience to the end customer.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
Prepare, analyze, evaluate and modify mechanical drawings diagrams and other related technical documents related to truck stabilization and general fabrication.
Analyzing and troubleshooting complex integrations problems related to installation.
Procurement and inventory management of steel, and prefabricated items
Obtain and Program vehicles modules with multiplex systems
Mechanical engineering by applying mathematics and fundamentals
Key Responsibilities:
Use specialized software to create models and drawings of products (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred)
Research new materials and methods of development R&D
Organize and maintain existing engineering records (VAULT) test results, and client feedback.
Construct prototypes and confirm designs with sales team
Perform/assist physical testing on engineering prototypes
Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards (ULC/ NFPA Standards, CWB, etc.)
Work cooperatively with clients, fellow employees, contractors, management and suppliers Conduct on-site, Monitor fabrication to ensure alignment with the approved 3D design.
Coordinate with suppliers and partners to align engineering requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
Prepare engineering calculations and installation sketches.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experience in mechanical design
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in AutoCAD/AutoCAD (or other modeling software)
Experience working with automotive body builder interfaces
Basic mechanical knowledge
In-depth knowledge of 3D modeling software
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
