Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in various design and analysis tools. This role requires innovative thinking and the ability to work collaboratively on complex projects, ensuring that mechanical systems are designed to meet high standards of functionality and reliability.

Duties

Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as Creo and SolidWorks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create system designs that meet project specifications. Utilize CNC machining techniques for prototype development and production. Conduct thorough analysis of mechanical designs, including stress analysis and thermal management. Create detailed schematics and documentation for manufacturing processes. Implement LabView for automation and control systems as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing solutions to enhance product performance. Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in mechanical knowledge and best practices.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience in mechanical design with proficiency in CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks). Strong understanding of system design principles and experience with logic controllers. Familiarity with CNC processes and techniques is preferred. Demonstrated ability to create and interpret schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
