About the Role

We are currently recruiting a

Mechanical Engineer

for

one of our clients

operating within the

Energy & Resources sector

in Calgary, Alberta.

Our client works across a range of projects including

oil & gas facilities, energy infrastructure, mining operations, and industrial plants

, and is looking to add Mechanical Engineering talent to support ongoing and upcoming work.

What You'll Be Doing



Depending on your background and the specific project, responsibilities may include:

Mechanical engineering design and analysis for energy and industrial facilities Supporting projects across

upstream, midstream, downstream, LNG, mining, and industrial sectors

Equipment selection and specification, including: Pumps, compressors, heat exchangers Pressure vessels and static equipment Piping systems and mechanical packages Assisting with project engineering, design reviews, and technical documentation Reviewing drawings, calculations, and vendor data Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and contractors Participating in HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and design meetings Supporting commissioning, operations, maintenance, or reliability activities Ensuring designs comply with

ASME, CSA, API

, and applicable Alberta standards
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

Experience in

Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Industrial, or EPC environments

Exposure to facilities engineering, rotating equipment, static equipment, piping, or project engineering Familiarity with Canadian engineering codes and standards is beneficial

EIT or P.Eng designation (or eligibility)

is considered an asset Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn Ability to work in Canada (Calgary-based role)
