We're looking for a

Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Primary Activities of the Role:

Work alongside Engineers, Project Managers, and Customers to translate customer needs into practical engineered solutions. Develop CAD models, conduct engineering analysis (FEA and hand calcs), and prepare engineering reports. Produce fabrication drawings and support projects through the shop floor build process. Research and integrate proven component solutions into projects. Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards including API, AISC, AB OHS and others. Create and maintain technical documentation, including instructions, and manuals. Provide proactive support during fabrication, working with welders and shop staff to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful completion. Maintain a strong onsite presence at our facility and contribute to CARE's Quality Program.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (EIT designation). 2 years of related work experience (preferred). Proficiency with CAD software (Inventor and Vault preferred) and FEA tools (Nastran and SAFI preferred). Strong problem-solving, conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Familiarity with industry standards and prior Oil & Gas industry experience are assets.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range CA$35.00 - $43.00/Hour $1.00/Hr. RRSP Matching after completion of 1 Year of continuous Service Alberta Blue Cross Benefit Package including Extended Health care, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability & Life Insurance, after Probationary period (90-day) completion. Overtime after 8 Hours per day and/or 44 Hrs. per week as required.
