Reporting to the Research and Development Supervisor, the incumbent's primary responsibility is to improve and maintain standard products (design, assembly drawings, BOM, product configurator) while prioritizing the importance of options according to their turnover rate. :

• Develops project concepts and provides full project management as required
• Participate and lead brainstorming sessions as needed
• Design and draw 3D mechanical parts on CAD
• Ensure continuous communication with the client to gather relevant information
• Manage the production start-up and communication to different departments such as purchasing and production
• Supervise the installation of the systems at the customer's site

Who we’re looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the design and manufacturing of automated machinery and equipment, ideally in the packaging industry
• Member of the OIQ
• Good knowledge of 3D design software for mechanical parts (Inventor and/or Solidwork)
• Dynamic and responsible person with a good sense of work organization.
• Team spirit, rigor, creativity and versatility.
• Bilingual, English and French, spoken and written
