Join our award-winning team and make a difference that defines you. We are currently seeking a full-time Junior Mechanical Engineer in our Halifax and Moncton offices. Duties: . Design of mechanical services and associated equipment as well as installations, including HVAC and plumbing. . Preparation and coordination of approvals, tender documents, cost estimating, contract documents, reports including sealing the documents.

  • Preparation of the assessment, design and cooling/heating load calculations, piping/duct design and air emissions. . Preparation of AutoCAD design drawings, Revit energy models and specifications as required. . Participation in contract administration services and inspections of HVAC and plumbing installations where required. . Other duties as required where appropriate for the position.
Qualifications: . A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. . Must have a valid P. Eng. designation in the province of New Brunswick and/ or Nova Scotia or eligible to be qualified within six months.
  • 2 to 5 years of progressive experience. . A strong interest in building services is a requirement (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection). . Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. . Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
  • Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development and other skills appropriate to consulting. . Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents. . Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. . Must have a valid Driver's License.
