Primary Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Create accurate and clear mechanical drawings in compliance with drafting standards. Work in an engineering environment with other design personnel and in collaboration with teams of Professional Engineers and Technologists. Collect and document building as-built conditions, when required. Participate in design reviews and occasional customer review meetings, provide resource information and design input. Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technologies from a recognised post-secondary institution. Five or more years of direct industry (especially commercial) experience in Mechanical drafting, required. Skills: Must be detail orientated, possess superior organizational and time management skills, ability to meet project deadlines, and ability to follow direction when required. Ability to multi-task and efficiently respond to changing priorities in a busy office environment. Proficiency in English, in both verbal and written communication is essential; must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients. Possess strong mechanical drafting experience with thorough knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam, Trace/Carrier, E-Design, Microsoft Office applications.
