Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical drafting and design, utilizing advanced CAD software to create detailed schematics and drawings. This role is essential for translating engineering concepts into practical designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Duties

Develop detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and other CAD software. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts. Create 2D and 3D models for various mechanical components and assemblies. Review and revise designs based on feedback from engineering teams or clients. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications. Utilize Bluebeam and NavisWorks for document management and project coordination. Assist in system design by providing drafting support for construction projects. Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Pro/ENGINEER. Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in mechanical engineering or related fields. Experience in drafting schematics and assembly drawings for mechanical systems. Familiarity with construction processes and system design principles. Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across various disciplines. Knowledge of 2D animation techniques is a plus. Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
