Job Description
We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Mechanical Designer. Join a leading OEM based in Woodstock, Ontario, where you will contribute to the design and development of innovative machinery and equipment. This is your chance to make a tangible impact on high-quality, custom-engineered products while working alongside a skilled and collaborative engineering team. Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Designing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
- Preparing detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation for manufacturing.
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturability requirements
- Conducting design reviews, making adjustments based on feedback and technical constraints.
- Applying industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices to all designs.
- Supporting prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for design efficiency and product quality.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in an OEM or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, fabrication methods, and manufacturing processes
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
