Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Designer to support the development of cutting-edge aerospace systems and components. The ideal candidate will assist with design tasks, perform basic engineering analyses, and contribute to cross-functional project success through strong collaboration and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior engineers in the conceptualization, design, and analysis of aerospace systems and mechanical components.
Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses (e.g., structural, thermal, aerodynamic) under supervision.
Support the preparation and maintenance of engineering documentation including CAD drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical reports.
Participate in the setup, execution, and monitoring of engineering tests and experiments; assist with data collection and analysis.
Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues, working closely with experienced engineers to develop solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams--including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance--to support successful project execution.
Learn and apply applicable industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, SAE) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering tools, templates, and workflows.
Participate in design and project reviews; present technical findings and updates to both internal teams and external stakeholders when required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software SolidWorks
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
